PCT Boot Camp Program

St. David’s Institute for Learning in association with Austin Community College has created a two-week training program for new PCTs hired by facilities in St David’s HealthCare. This program is designed to give new PCTs the basic knowledge and skills needed to effectively function in any SDH facility. As a first phase of a life-long learning plan, PCTs will attend the Boot Camp, then have the option to attend ACCs Clinical Technician program followed by the opportunity to progress to higher levels of patient care that could include EMT, LVN, RN or Allied Health careers.
